Tizoxanide-d4 glucuronide is the deuterium labeled Tizoxanide glucuronide. Tizoxanide glucuronide is the metabolite of Nitazoxanide (HY-B0217) and is cell-permeable to inhibit asexual and sexual stages development of parasite C. parvum.

Tizoxanide glucuronide (1-50 μg/ml; 46 hours) has effects on parasite development of Cryptosporidium parvum in HCT-8 cells. It exhibits MIC50 values of 2.2 μg/ml; 45.2 μg/ml; 11.7 μg/ml and 2.8 μg/ml in a sexual and sexual stages, sporozoite stage, asexual stages and sexual stages, respectively[1].
