Drofenine hydrochloride induces calcium influx in keratinocytes and exert cytotoxicity against keratinocytes. Drofenine hydrochloride ameliorates diabetic peripheral neuropathy -like pathology. Drofenine hydrochloride can be used for the researches of Alzheimer's disease, diabetic peripheral neuropathy and smooth muscle spasm .
