Halobetasol propionate shows antiproliferative effects in the cotton-pellet granuloma assay in rats^[2].
Halobetasol propionate has vasoconstrictive effects in the cutaneous vasoconstriction assay^[2].

Halobetasol propionate (0.05% ointment; topical; twice a day; for 4 weeks) improves psoriasis in SCID mouse-psoriasis xenograft model^[1].
Halobetasol propionate (ED₅₀ of 1.45 µg/animal) inhibits dermatitis in the ultraviolet-induced dermatitis in guinea pigs^[2].
Halobetasol propionate has anti-inflammatory effects in croton oil-induced ear edema in rats (ED₅₀ of 0.5 µg/animal) and mice (ED₅₀ of <0.32 µg/animal)^[2].
Halobetasol propionate inhibits dermatitis by Oxazolone (HY-126360) in mice (ED₅₀ of 0.8 µg/animal) and in rats (ED₅₀ of ~1 µg/animal)^[2].

Protocol 1

Add each solvent one by one: 10% DMSO 40% PEG300 5% Tween-80 45% Saline

Solubility: ≥ 2.5 mg/mL (5.16 mM); Clear solution

This protocol yields a clear solution of ≥ 2.5 mg/mL (saturation unknown).

Taking 1 mL working solution as an example, add 100 μL DMSO stock solution (25.0 mg/mL) to 400 μL PEG300, and mix evenly; then add 50 μL Tween-80 and mix evenly; then add 450 μL Saline to adjust the volume to 1 mL.

Protocol 2

Add each solvent one by one: 10% DMSO 90% Corn Oil

Solubility: ≥ 2.5 mg/mL (5.16 mM); Clear solution

This protocol yields a clear solution of ≥ 2.5 mg/mL (saturation unknown). If the continuous dosing period exceeds half a month, please choose this protocol carefully.

Taking 1 mL working solution as an example, add 100 μL DMSO stock solution (25.0 mg/mL) to 900 μL Corn oil, and mix evenly.
