Result:Led to a decrease in blood glucose levels, with the maximum decrease at 30 minutes.
Inhibited palmitate oxidation in myocardial homogenates.
Increased incorporation of labeled palmitate into the liver.
Inhibited gluconeogenesis, and enhanced glucose oxidation.
