Medifoxamine is an orally active monoamine reuptake inhibitor and antidepressant. Medifoxamine preferentially inhibits presynaptic dopamine reuptake. Medifoxamine acts as an intraocular pressure-lowering agent to reduce intraocular pressure, and also functions as a miotic agent to decrease pupil diameter.
