SC 19886 (infused at 0.1 mM) completely inhibits spontaneous aldosterone production in perfused Rana ridibunda frog adrenal interrenal fragments, and this irreversible effect persists for at least 7 h, while it also completely blocks the stimulatory effects of ACTH and angiotensin II on aldosterone biosynthesis^[1].
