SC 19886
SC 19886 is an inhibitor of Aldosterone (HY-113313) synthesis. SC 19886 blocks Aldosterone-induced DNA-dependent RNA synthesis. SC 19886 can be used in studies related to primary aldosteronism[1][2].

Activité biologique
SC 19886 (infused at 0.1 mM) completely inhibits spontaneous aldosterone production in perfused Rana ridibunda frog adrenal interrenal fragments, and this irreversible effect persists for at least 7 h, while it also completely blocks the stimulatory effects of ACTH and angiotensin II on aldosterone biosynthesis[1].
MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.
