Cat. No.: HY-W006230
CAS No.: 84-60-6
Target:

Cytochrome P450

Research Areas:

Cancer

Anthraflavic acid specifically inhibits the activity of cytochrome P-448 without affecting phenobarbital-induced cytochrome P-450 or NADPH-dependent cytochrome c reduction. Anthraflavic acid inhibits cytosolic metabolic pathways, blocks the microsomal and cytosolic activation of IQ, and reduces the metabolic activation level of Glu-P-I. Anthraflavic acid may exert anticancer activity by inhibiting the metabolic activation of chemical carcinogens. Anthraflavic acid is applicable to cancer-related research .

Bilirubin diglucuronide is a bilirubin glycoside conjugate with a 1-O-acyl β-D-glucuronide structure. Bilirubin diglucuronide is the major conjugated bilirubin (HY-N0323) and predominant pigment excreted in the bile of adult humans, rats, dogs and cats. Bilirubin diglucuronide is mainly synthesized via UDP-glucuronosyltransferase-mediated transfer of glucuronic acid from UDP-glucuronic acid to bilirubin monoglucuronide, or via enzymatic disproportionation of two moles of bilirubin monoglucuronide (predominantly producing the IXα configuration). In addition, Bilirubin diglucuronide can also be synthesized from bilirubin or its monoglucuronide in a UDP-glucuronic acid-dependent manner. Pretreatment with phenobarbital significantly enhances the formation process of Bilirubin diglucuronide .

Sapindoside B is a substance with hepatoprotective activity, and also acts as a cytochrome P-450 (cytochrome P-450) inhibitor, antibacterial agent and membrane-disrupting agent. Sapindoside B reversibly inhibits the content of cytochrome P-450 in liver microsomes, suppresses the phenobarbital-induced increase in enzyme content, reduces the production of active metabolites mediated by cytochrome P-450, and alleviates hepatotoxic injury. Sapindoside B binds to Cutibacterium acnes lipase, reduces lipase activity, inhibits biofilm formation, and decreases bacterial adhesion. Sapindoside B exhibits cytotoxicity against human cancer, liver cancer, leukemia and glioblastoma cells. Sapindoside B inhibits mycelial growth of phytopathogenic fungal strains, possesses antibacterial activity against dermatophytes, and also has hemolytic/membrane-lytic activity. Sapindoside B can be used in research related to liver injury, Cutibacterium acnes biofilm-associated infections, gastric cancer, carcinoma, promyelocytic leukemia, glioblastoma, apple scab and grape gray mold .

LY 171859 is a D2 receptor agonist with significant reductase activity. LY 171859 exhibits enzymatic activity in the cytoplasm of liver, lung, and kidney, and also contains significant reductase activity in rat and human blood. LY 171859 has higher hepatic reductase activity in guinea pigs, followed by hamsters, rabbits, rats, and mice. The substrate of LY 171859 shows an apparent Km of 5.6 μM. The reduction reaction of LY 171859 is NADPH-dependent with an apparent Km of 14.8 μM. Only the A-side hydrogen of NADPH is incorporated in the reduction product of LY 171859. The reaction of LY 171859 is inhibited by cyanide and thiol reagents, and phenobarbital does not induce its activity in rats .
