D-Tyrosine
Based on 1 Customer Validation
D-Tyrosine is the D-isomer of tyrosine. D-Tyrosine negatively regulates melanin synthesis by inhibiting tyrosinase activity. D-Tyrosine inhibits biofilm formation and trigger the self-dispersal of biofilms without suppressing bacterial growth.

Actividad biológica
Tyrosinase[1]
D-Tyrosine (100-500 μM, 48 h) reduces the protein expression levels of tyrosinase, TRP1, and MITF, inhibits α-MSH or UVB-induced melanin synthesis in cells MNT-1 and human primary melanocytes[1].
D-Tyrosine (5 nM-200 μM, 3-24 h) inhibits the bacterial adhesion and biofilm formation in strains Bacillus subtilis, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Escherichia coli[2].
MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.
