Nadifloxacin (OPC7251) is a broad-spectrum quinolone antibiotic. Nadifloxacin inhibits bacterial DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV, interfering with DNA replication. Nadifloxacin exhibits antibacterial activity against various pathogens, including Propionibacterium acnes and Staphylococcus aureus. Nadifloxacin also exhibits anti-inflammatory activity.
