Mazapertine is an orally active antipsychotic agent. M azapertine antagonizes to dopamine D2/3/4 receptors (Ki values < 3 nM) and also strongly binds to serotonin 5-HT1A receptor (Ki =1.7 nM) and α1-adrenergic receptor (Ki = 1.3 nM). Mazapertine can be used for the research of neurological disease.
