In Vivo

Riamilovir (250 mg capsules, once daily; orally for 10 consecutive days) demonstrated broad-spectrum antiviral activity against influenza, tick-borne encephalitis, and SARS-CoV-2 in a randomized, double-blind, multicenter trial. It was able to reduce the viral load of SARS-CoV-2 in vivo without severe adverse reactions^[1].
Riamilovir (0.85 mg/kg; orally once daily for 7 consecutive days) produced a significant endothelial protective effect in male C57BL/6 mice with endothelial dysfunction induced by L-NAME. This substance reduced the levels of MMP-2 and MMP-9 in the aortic supernatant of mice by 20.4% and 19.5%, respectively, and downregulated the level of iNOS in the aorta by 57.2% and upregulated the level of eNOS by 40.0%^[2].
