Riamilovir sodium
Riamilovir sodium is an oral, broad-spectrum antiviral agent. Riamilovir sodium can directly act on the virus's RNA-dependent RNA polymerase, thereby inhibiting viral replication, reducing viral load, and helping to alleviate the severity of the disease. Riamilovir sodium can be used in research on acute respiratory viral infections caused by novel variants of SARS-CoV-2.

Riamilovir (0.85 mg/kg; orally once daily for 7 consecutive days) sodium produced a significant endothelial protective effect in male C57BL/6 mice with endothelial dysfunction induced by L-NAME. This substance reduced the levels of MMP-2 and MMP-9 in the aortic supernatant of mice by 20.4% and 19.5%, respectively, and downregulated the level of iNOS in the aorta by 57.2% and upregulated the level of eNOS by 40.0%[2].
