Dichlorobenzamil significantly inhibits 45Ca uptake mediated by reverse Na/Ca exchange in pancreatic islet cells (IC50 = 18 μM). Dichlorobenzamil can also block K + channels and voltage-sensitive Ca 2+ channels .
