Y 9000 is an orally active antiallergic and anti-inflammatory compound. Y 9000 targets mast cells, inhibits the release of allergic mediators, stimulates the adrenal glands, exhibits glucocorticoid-like activity, and reduces adrenal ascorbic acid content.
