Sutherlandioside B shows in vitro antiviral activity against Epstein-Barr virus and Tacaribe virus^[2].
Sutherlandioside B (6.25-25 μg/mL; 60 min pretreatment, 18 h co-stimulation) modestly reduces LPS/IFNγ-induced ROS production in RAW 264.7 cells at a concentration of 6.25 μg/mL, with reduced activity at higher concentrations^[3].
