CH-102 (HE 165) is an isoquinoline derivative. CH-102 exhibits significant anti-platelet aggregation and antithrombotic activities. CH-102 can be used in the study of angina pectoris^[1]^[2].

In Vitro

CH-102 (2 g; 5 h) shows stability in acidic and neutral aqueous media, but hydrolyzes in alkaline media to form an acid amide derivative (Rf 0.74, m/Z 305) and a carboxylic acid derivative (Rf 0.20, m/Z 262)^[1].
CH-102 (200 μg; 30-minute pre-saturation; 90-minute development time) is effectively separated from its alkaline hydrolysis degradation products (Rf 0.74 and Rf 0.20) using a chloroform-methanol-25% ammonium hydroxide (70:20:2.5, v/v/v) TLC system for stability analysis, with CH-102 having an Rf of 0.92^[1].
