ABL tyrosine kinases

Definition:

ABL tyrosine kinases are a family of non-receptor tyrosine kinases (nRTKs) consisting of two paralogs, ABL1 and ABL2. ABL1 and ABL2 both promote tumor progression and metastasis. ABL kinases regulate diverse cellular processes such as inflammation, cancer and other pathologies.
