WD repeat-containing protein 5 (WDR5)

Definition:

WD repeat-containing protein 5 (WDR5) is a member of the WD40 protein family. WDR5 is involved in gene expression regulation as an epigenetic “reader”. WDR5 interacts and recognizes the methylated fourth lysine and second arginine of histone H3, histone 3 lysine 4 (H3K4) and histone 3 arginine 2 (H3R2).
