Biological Activity: YIGSR-Lys(N3) is a peptide that can inhibit the tumour growth and metastasis of leukaemic cells. YIGSR blocks the cellular binding to laminin I via a 67-kDa laminin-binding protein, and inhibits shear-induced increase in eNOS expression of laminin cells[1][2]. YIGSR-Lys(N3) is a click chemistry reagent, it contains an Azide group and can undergo copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition reaction (CuAAc) with molecules containing Alkyne groups. It can also undergo strain-promoted alkyne-azide cycloaddition (SPAAC) reactions with molecules containing DBCO or BCN groups.
