Chemical Structure
Propiconazole-d3 nitrate
- CAS No.: 2699607-26-4
- Formula:C15H15D3Cl2N4O5
- Molecular Weight:408.25
IUPAC Name: 1-((2-(2,4-dichlorophenyl)-4-propyl-1,3-dioxolan-2-yl-4,5,5-d3)methyl)-1H-1,2,4-triazole nitrate
InChIKey: OHCCKHXQYTUYED-XIQAKCKDSA-N
SMILES: ClC1=CC(Cl)=C(C2(OC([2H])(C([2H])(O2)CCC)[2H])CN3C=NC=N3)C=C1.O=[N+]([O-])O
Biological Activity: Propiconazole-d3 (nitrate) is the deuterium labeled Propiconazole nitrate. Propiconazole is a broad-spectrum triazole fungicide that inhibits the conversion of lanosterol to ergosterol, leading to fungal cell membrane disruption. Propiconazole inhibits S. cerevisiae, but not rat liver, microsomal cytochrome P450 (IC50s=0.04 and >200 µM, respectively). Propiconazole inhibits the growth of T. deformans and R. stolonifer (ED50s=0.073 and 4.6 µg/mL, respectively). Propiconazole increases production of reactive oxygen species (ROS).
