Acetylcholine (ACh)

Definition:

Acetylcholine is a major neurotransmitter used in neuromuscular junctions, responsible for muscle contractions. Acetylcholine is widely used in the autonomic nervous system.The modulation of this calcium influx appears as the main mechanism through which ACh release is regulated.
