Definition:

Helicobacter cinaedi (previously called Campylobacter cinaedi) causes cellulitis, bacteremia and diarrhea frequently in immunocompromised patients and occasionally in immunocompetent individuals. In addition to these things, Nosocomial H. cinaedi infections have recently been reported.
