Definition:
[XK-related protein 4, processed form]: Phospholipid scramblase that promotes phosphatidylserine exposure on apoptotic cell surface. Phosphatidylserine is a specific marker only present at the surface of apoptotic cells and acts as a specific signal for engulfment.
