SYK-1106
SYK-1106 is a potent delta-opioid receptor (DOR) agonist with an EC50 of 89 pM and a Ki of 848 pM. SYK-1106 is selective for μ and κ opioid receptors, with Ki values of 9.54 nM and 2.45 nM, respectively. SYK-1106 induces dose-dependent antidepressant-like effects. SYK-1106 can be used for the research of depression.

Animal Model:ICR mice (male, 5 weeks old, acclimatized for ~7 days before experiments)[1]

Dosage:0.03 mg/kg; 0.1 mg/kg; 0.3 mg/kg

Administration:s.c.; single dose (30 minutes before test sessions)

Result:Did not significantly alter immobility, swimming, or climbing counts at 0.03 mg/kg compared to vehicle.
Significantly reduced immobility counts and increased swimming counts at 0.1 mg/kg.
Produced the largest significant reduction in immobility counts, along with significant increases in swimming and climbing counts at 0.3 mg/kg.
Had antidepressant-like effects completely reversed by co-administration with NTI at 0.3 mg/kg.
Did not significantly alter locomotor activity at 0.3 mg/kg compared to vehicle.
Caused no convulsive effects at any tested dose.
