Eicosapentaenoyl ethanolamide acts as a metabolic signal. Eicosapentaenoyl ethanolamide inhibits dietary restriction (DR)-induced lifespan extension in wild type animals and suppresses lifespan extension in a TOR pathway mutant[1][2].
