Aminocyclopyrachlor-methyl is a herbicide that acts as an indole-3-acetic acid (IAA) mimic. Aminocyclopyrachlor-methyl targets the IAA signaling pathway and is readily absorbed through both the leaves and roots of susceptible plants. Aminocyclopyrachlor-methyl markedly inhibits the growth and biomass of trumpetcreeper (Campsis radicans) and the growth and regrowth of mugwort (Artemisia vulgaris), thereby effectively controlling both weeds.

Description

Aminocyclopyrachlor-methyl is a herbicide that acts as an indole-3-acetic acid (IAA) mimic. Aminocyclopyrachlor-methyl targets the IAA signaling pathway and is readily absorbed through both the leaves and roots of susceptible plants. Aminocyclopyrachlor-methyl markedly inhibits the growth and biomass of trumpetcreeper (Campsis radicans) and the growth and regrowth of mugwort (Artemisia vulgaris), thereby effectively controlling both weeds[1][2].

In Vitro

Aminocyclopyrachlor-methyl (8.75-70 g/ha; postemergence) provides 58% to 99% trumpetcreeper control in greenhouse-grown plants, with 99% control and significant fresh biomass reduction at 70 g/ha[1].
Aminocyclopyrachlor-methyl (70-280 g/ha; postemergence) delivers 77%-99% control of trumpetcreeper with reduced stem growth, density and dry biomass; it also exerts dose-dependent control of mugwort, achieving 95%-98% visual control, near-complete stand reduction and full biomass elimination at 140–280 g·ha⁻¹ by 365 DAT[1][2].
Aminocyclopyrachlor-methyl (70-140 g/ha; postemergence foliar application) provides 79% to 92% visual mugwort control in greenhouse-grown plantsand completely prevents regrowth at doses of 70 and 140 g/ha[2].

Help & FAQs
  • Do most proteins show cross-species activity?

Species cross-reactivity must be investigated individually for each product. Many human cytokines will produce a nice response in mouse cell lines, and many mouse proteins will show activity on human cells. Other proteins may have a lower specific activity when used in the opposite species.
