Biological Activity: D-473 is an orally active, blood-brain barrier penetrant and serotonin-preferring reuptake inhibitor. D-473 inhibits serotonin, dopamine and norepinephrine transporters, and significantly elevates the extracellular levels of these three neurotransmitters in rat brain regions.
