Biological Activity: Itaconate-alkyne (ITalk) is a specific bioorthogonal probe for quantitative and site-specific chemoproteomic profiling of Itaconation in living cells. Itaconate-alkyne, a functional analogue of Itaconate, exhibits comparable antiinflammatory effect with Itaconate and enables the labeling of bona fide targets of Itaconate[1]. Itaconate-alkyne is a click chemistry reagent, it contains an Alkyne group and can undergo copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAc) with molecules containing Azide groups.
