Biological Activity: Efzofitimod is a splice variant of the aminoacyl-tRNA synthetase HARS1, which is fused with the Fc segment of a human antibody. Efzofitimod targets the neuronal phospholipid NRP2 (neuropilin-2) and has anti-inflammatory and immunomodulatory activities. Efzofitimod can downregulate the innate and adaptive immune responses in inflammatory disease states, suppressing indirect lung disease (ILD)[1].
