PLAP-IN-1 acts as a tumor-targeting agent; its fluorescein-conjugated derivative specifically binds to PLAP-positive tumor cells in vitro and targets cervical cancer in mouse xenograft models. PLAP-IN-1 can be used in the research of cervical cancer and ovarian cancer[1].
