Actinidioionoside (Compound 2) is a megastigmane glucoside compound found in Borago officinalis L. Actinidioionoside has DPPH free radical scavenging activity (IC₅₀: 41.3 μM). Actinidioionoside has no significant cytotoxicity against A549 human lung cancer cells (IC₅₀ > 100 μM). Actinidioionoside can be used in antioxidant studies.
