HPPD-IN-13

HPPD-IN-13 is a potent herbicide targeting HPPD, with an IC₅₀ value of 0.132 μM against EcHPPD. HPPD-IN-13 primarily forms bidentate coordination with the ferrous ion in the active site of HPPD, and competitively blocks HPPA metabolism via π-π stacking and multiple hydrogen bonds, ultimately leading to plant albinism and death. HPPD-IN-13 can be used in the research and development of novel bleaching herbicides.

HPPD-IN-13 (compound III-2) potently inhibits Echinochloa crus-galli HPPD with an IC₅₀ of 0.132 μM^[1].
HPPD-IN-13 binds stably to Arabidopsis thaliana HPPD through bidentate coordination with Co²⁺, π-π stacking interactions, and multiple hydrogen bonds, thereby contributing to its potent inhibitory activity^[1].
HPPD-IN-13 (active ingredient: 150 g/ha) inhibits the growth of Echinochloa crus-galli (99%-90%), Setaria viridis (89%-70%), Lolium perenne (89%-70%), Lolium multiflorum (99%-90%), and Abutilon theophrasti (99%-90%) in post-emergence herbicide assays^[1].
