Biological Activity
Glycitein-7-O-methyl ether (compound 3) shows no antimicrobial activity against Enterobacter aerogenes, Providencia stuartii, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, or Candida albicans strains, with MIC values > 256 μg mL-1[1].
Glycitein-7-O-methyl ether exhibited antioxidant activity as determined by a DPPH free radical scavenging assay, with an IC50 of 730.53 μg/mL[1].
