Japonipene G
Japonipene G is a bisabolane-type sesquiterpene that exhibits no significant cytotoxicity toward neuronal cells at the tested concentrations, but shows no inhibitory activity against cobalt CoCl2-induced neuronal cell death. Japonipene G can serve as a negative control or a mechanistic research tool for neuroprotection-related studies.

Biological Activity
Description
In Vitro
Japonipene G (1.5-15 μM; 2 h pre-treatment) does not exert neuroprotective effects against CoCl2-induced death in human dopaminergic SH-SY5Y cells at concentrations up to 15 μM[1].
MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.
