Camaroside (compound 1) (50 μM) weakly reduces metabolic activity of mouse fibroblast NIH-3T3 cells and human hepatocellular carcinoma HepG2 cells, with no activity observed in human colorectal adenocarcinoma HT29 cells^[1].
Camaroside shows no significant in vitro antimicrobial activity against the tested panel of bacteria and yeast^[1].
