Cx43 HC-IN-1 reduces neuroinflammation and neuronal overexcitation by inhibiting hemichannels in glial cells in the brain, and alleviates epilepsy in mice. Cx43 HC-IN-1 can be used for research on epilepsy and muscle diseases [1] .
