α2,3-Sialyltransferase, Pasteurella multocida (P-1059)
Based on 1 Customer Validation
α2,3-Sialyltransferase, Pasteurella multocida (P-1059) (PmST1(M144D)), a sialyltransferase, can be isolated from Pasteurella multocida. alpha-2,3-Sialyltransferase (PmST1) can be converted into regioselective α2-6-sialyltransferase by saturation mutagenesis and regioselective screening.

Biological Activity
Product Information
This enzyme is used to connect sialic acid to the non-reducing end Gal in an α2,3 connection. This product is recombinantly expressed in E. coli, with a C-terminal His Tag, a molecular weight of 48.1 kDa, and a storage buffer component of 20 mM Tris-HCl, pH 8.0, and 10% glycerol.
Instructions
1. Add substrate and 5 mM MgCl2 according to the reaction system. You can add appropriate buffer salts (such as Tris-HCl), adjust the pH to 8.5, and add appropriate amount of enzyme to react (according to the reaction requirements);
2. After mixing, incubate the sample at 37°C for 1-2h.
Notes
When the system is scaled up, the incubation time or enzyme amount needs to be adjusted according to the actual situation, and can be mixed by low-speed oscillation.
MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.
