2-Dehydro-3-deoxy-phosphogluconate aldolase (EC 4.1.2.14) is an aldolase and a key enzyme in the bacterial Entner–Doudoroff (ED) pathway; it catalyzes the cleavage of KDPG (6-phospho-2-keto-3-deoxy-D-gluconate) into pyruvate and glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate (G3P).
