3,5-DiBr-PAESA is a water-soluble pyridylazo-based highly sensitive chromogenic reagent. With the assistance of EDTA for masking copper and bromide ions for dissociating silver chelates, 3,5-DiBr-PAESA enables accurate determination of sub-milligram level silver ions in strongly acidic high-copper systems via flow injection spectrophotometry.

Description

3,5-DiBr-PAESA is a water-soluble pyridylazo-based highly sensitive chromogenic reagent. With the assistance of EDTA for masking copper and bromide ions for dissociating silver chelates, 3,5-DiBr-PAESA enables accurate determination of sub-milligram level silver ions in strongly acidic high-copper systems via flow injection spectrophotometry[1].

In Vitro

3,5-diBr-PAESA enables reliable spectrophotometric determination of sub-mg/dm3-level silver (I) in solutions containing acidic divalent copper ions and metallic copper samples, with a linear calibration range up to 1 mg/dm3[1].

MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.

Help & FAQs
  • Do most proteins show cross-species activity?

Species cross-reactivity must be investigated individually for each product. Many human cytokines will produce a nice response in mouse cell lines, and many mouse proteins will show activity on human cells. Other proteins may have a lower specific activity when used in the opposite species.
