3-Phenylpropanoate dioxygenase
3-Phenylpropanoate dioxygenase (EC 1.14.12.19) is an oxidoreductase that can catalyze multiple reactions, including reaction 1: convert 3-phenylpropanoate, NADH, O2 and H+ into 3-(cis-5,6-dihydroxycyclohexa-1,3-dien-1-yl)propanoate and NAD+; reaction 2: convert (E)-cinnamate, NADH, O2 and H+ into (2E)-3-(cis-5,6-dihydroxycyclohexa-1,3-dien-1-yl)prop-2-enoate and NAD+.
