5-Carboxymethyl-2-hydroxymuconic-semialdehyde dehydrogenase (EC 1.2.1.60) is an oxidoreductase that can convert 2-hydroxy-5-carboxymethylmuconate semialdehyde, NAD+ and H2O into (2E,4Z)- 5-hydroxypenta-2,4-diene-1,2,5-tricarboxylate, NADH and 2 H+.
