5-Hydroxyfuranocoumarin 5-O-methyltransferase

5-Hydroxyfuranocoumarin 5-O-methyltransferase (EC 2.1.1.69) is a transferase that can catalyze multiple reactions, including reaction 1: convert a 5-hydroxyfurocoumarin and S-adenosyl-L-methionine into a 5-methoxyfurocoumarin, S-adenosyl-L-homocysteine and H+; reaction 2: convert bergaptol and S-adenosyl-L-methionine into bergapten and S-adenosyl-L-homocysteine.
