8-Hydroxyfuranocoumarin 8-O-methyltransferase
8-Hydroxyfuranocoumarin 8-O-methyltransferase (EC 2.1.1.70) is a transferase that can catalyze multiple reactions, including reaction 1: convert an 8-hydroxyfurocoumarin and S-adenosyl-L-methionine into an 8-methoxyfurocoumarin, S-adenosyl-L-homocysteine and H+; reaction 2: convert xanthotoxol and S-adenosyl-L-methionine into xanthotoxin, S-adenosyl-L-homocysteine and H+.
