9α,10α-Epoxyhexahydrocannabinol (1-10 mg/kg; i.v.) exhibits pharmacological activity in mice, with 4-fold greater potency than Δ⁹-THC in cataleptogenic effect, approximate equipotency in hypothermic, pentobarbital-induced sleep prolongation, and anticonvulsant effects, and enhanced anticonvulsant protection when combined with phenobarbital^[1].
9α,10α-Epoxyhexahydrocannabinol is formed as an in vitro metabolite of delta 9-tetrahydrocannabinol (Δ⁹-THC) by liver microsomes from phenobarbital-pretreated male ddN mice^[1].

Protected all mice against Pentylenetetrazol (PTZ)-induced lethal tonic extension at 10 mg/kg; significantly prolonged clonic seizure latency to 258 s and tonic seizure latency to 610 s.
Provided 75.0% protection against PTZ-induced tonic convulsion when combined with phenobarbital at 10 mg/kg, a significant increase compared to control.
