Biological Activity
Aluminum Glycinate releases aluminum ions in gastric juice, reacts with phosphate in the intestine to form insoluble aluminum phosphate, thereby reducing phosphate absorption. Aluminum Glycinate exhibits a rapid and lasting buffering effect, maintains the pH value in the stomach within the range of 3.5-4.5, and prevents gastric acid from damaging the gastric mucosa. The antacid activity of Aluminum Glycinate is not affected by pepsin[2][3].
