Function
DOCK4 acts as a guanine nucleotide exchange factor (GEF), promoting the exchange of GDP and GTP, converting inactive GDP-binding small GTPases into active GTP-binding forms. DOCK4 participates in the regulation of intercellular adhesion junctions. DOCK4 plays a role in cell migration. Isomer 2: Has higher guanine nucleotide exchange factor activity compared to other isomers.
