Western blot analysis was performed on extracts from Hela (lane 1, 20 μg), Jurkat (lane 2, 20 μg), K562 (lane 3, 20 μg), HepG2 (lane 4, 20 μg), 293T (lane 5, 20 μg), and A431 (lane 6, 20 μg) using MDH2 Rabbit mAb.Proteins were transferred to a PVDF membrane and blocked with 5% non - fat milk in TBST at 4°C overnight. The primary antibody (1:1000 dilution) and the loading control antibody (beta-Tubulin, HY-P80955, 1:5000 dilution) were incubated in 5% non-fat milk in TBST for 1 hour at 37°C.Goat Anti - Rabbit/Mouse IgG - HRP Secondary Antibody (1:20000 dilution) was then applied for 40 minutes at 37°C.

Isoforms & Post-Translational Modification
P40926 has 2 isomers: P40926-1: 35503 Da (predicted); P40926-2: 30875 Da (predicted).
Acetylation is enhanced by up to 67% after treatment either with trichostin A (TSA) or with nicotinamide (NAM) with the appearance of tri- and tetraacetylations. Glucose also increases acetylation by about 60% -
