Biological Activity: IMP-1700 is a potent DNA damage potentiator and antibacterial agent. IMP-1700 inhibits the bacterial SOS response to DNA damage. IMP-1700 potently sensitizes MRSA to Ciprofloxacin (HY-B0356) with an EC50 of 5.9 nM. IMP-1700 inhibits the growth of E. coli K-12 BW25113, S. aureus SH1000 and MRSA USA300 JE2[1][2].
