Biological Activity: Licoricone is a flavonoid compound. Licoricone also acts as a growth inhibitor against Helicobacter pylori, and exhibits activity against clarithromycin (HY-17508)-resistant, amoxicillin (HY-B0467A)-resistant, as well as susceptible strains. Licoricone can be isolated from the roots of Glycyrrhiza uralensis. Licoricone can be used in the research of peptic ulcers and gastric cancer[1].
